NEW BUSINESSES FLOCK TO DOWNTOWN WEST

The
retail momentum in the Clematis District continues to flourish as more retailers
and restaurants open throughout the area. Two significant new businesses,
LIVEIT Academy and Munoz Photography, recently opened, in addition to
four new dining and nightlife destinations, Taverna Yiasou, Rotelli,
Café Med, and Mai Thai & Martini.
Recognized as the only I.T. school between Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale, LiveIT
Academy, an approx. 7,000 sq. ft. computer training school, recently opened
at 315 S. Dixie Hwy. Computer certified trainers Donald Maxwell and Johnny
Garchelin, who have 10+ years teaching computer courses, opened Live IT Academy.
The
LiveIT Academy offers available training for I.T. Professionals through their
partnerships with other technology training companies and through their programs
developed internally. Students receive the right mix of hands-on and
theoretical training in an atmosphere conducive to training. LiveIT Academy
provides organizations with the computer skills to improve job impact, for
employees to gain industry-recognized certifications, and drive better results

The
Academy, which features multiple state-of-the-art classrooms, offers many
courses and programs. Students can opt to take one course such as how to use
Microsoft Word, QuickBooks, Ethical Hacking, Security and Introduction to I.T.
Students can register for an entire program, such as Wide Area Network System
Engineer, Office System Management, Web Design Technology, Wireless Network
Administrator, Network Security Administrator, P.C. Support Technician, and
Introduction to Information Technology.
